What can we say… other than that everything was absolutely perfect!
The venue itself is simply breathtaking. Every detail has been carefully thought out, from the harmonious choice ofcolours and materials throughout the château to the beautifully maintained grounds. The swimming pool is absolutelystunning.
Equally wonderful is the team at the château: warm, caring and genuinely attentive. We were welcomed by Léa, who is anabsolute gem. The château is incredibly lucky to have her as part of its team.
We also opted for the château’s wedding planning service, which gave us access to an exceptional selection of suppliers.We highly recommend this option.

“Château de Garde is an absolutely stunning wedding venue. From the moment we saw it, we knew it offered everything we were looking for.
One of the biggest advantages is that the château can be rented for the entire weekend, from Friday afternoon until Sunday afternoon. This allowed us to enjoy the celebrations at a relaxed pace and spend more quality time with our guests. The venue can also comfortably accommodate around 40 people on-site, which made the experience feel especially intimate and memorable.
The location is fantastic. The château is set on a beautiful vineyard and is close to Saint-Émilion, giving guests plenty of nearby accommodation options and attractions to explore.
We particularly loved the variety of indoor and outdoor spaces. As the weather can be unpredictable, having an equally beautiful indoor ceremony option was very important to us. Each part of the weekend could take place in a different setting: drinks on the balcony on Friday evening, the ceremony on the lawn or indoors, cocktails in the Moroccan garden, and dinner in the elegant dining room. The pool and gardens also provided wonderful spaces for guests to relax.
Every bedroom is beautifully furnished and finished, with so much attention to detail throughout the property. The château also provides an excellent list of trusted wedding planners and suppliers, which made the planning process much easier.
Château de Garde is a truly magical venue, combining beautiful surroundings, flexibility, character, and comfort. We could not recommend it more highly for a wedding weekend.

The château has been recently renovated, everything is in impeccable condition and finished to anexceptionally high standard.
Throughout the entire planning process, the château’s team was attentive, approachable, responsive and alwaysincredibly kind. Their support made the whole preparation process smooth and enjoyable.
The château also works with an excellent network of trusted suppliers who know the venue inside out. On the big day,everyone knew exactly where to go, where to find the equipment and who to turn to if anything was needed. We didn’thave to deal with a single logistical question and were able to fully enjoy our wedding, completely stress-free.
